Leveraging Your Sphere Of Influence

Hello Luxury Real Estate Agents,

I am doing something a little different this week with my blog: more video and less text.

Questions still come in from agents about how the spreadsheets work that come with my book “Selling Luxury Homes”. This week we are going to talk about the Sphere of Influence Certificate.

Depending upon who you talk to, the value of people in your sphere is huge. The ratio of people in your sphere to the number of transactions you can expect to make in the course of a year vary from 10 to 20. In other words, for every 10 people in your sphere you should have one transaction, or for every 20 people in your sphere you should have one transaction. It doesn’t matter what the number is, it’s just a good number to know. Whether it’s 10 or 20 or anything in between, it’s powerful to understand.

Today’s video is going to teach you how you can use the Sphere of Influence spreadsheet to quantify the value of people in your sphere of influence. An added benefit comes when you complete enough of them to demonstrate the annual income from your sphere. When you’re ready for an exit plan, this collection of Sphere Certificates can be a great way to value your business to sell it to another agent.

Enjoy the video. If you have questions, send an email to jack@jackcotton.com. Don’t forget, if you already bought my book, you can email me and send in your form for a free 20-minute phone consultation. It’s amazing how much we can get accomplished in a short call.

Until next time, make it a great week.
