It is all well and good to set goals and lay out a plan for their achievement. You increase the likelihood of sticking to your plan and achieving your goal if you have a compelling and strong WHY.
Suppose you had a goal of taking a trip to Paris, then you achieved the goal by taking the trip. You arrived, looked around, had a Big Mac and returned home. You attained the goal but it was empty with no WHY. There was no “What difference will I make as a result of attaining my goal? How will I be different and how will my life be different as a result of achieving this goal”?
