We’re cruising through our list of 12 Deadly Business Planning Sins. Today we’re going to talk about Sin number 9: Not Having Enough Time to Execute the Plan.
The older I get the faster time seems to go. Have you ever had a day that ended with thoughts of?
• “I was not as productive today as I should have been”
• “I got nothing done today”
• “Wasted day!”
We all have at one time or another.
The way to not commit Sin #9 is to carefully plan each day. Because even planning can take time, today’s video will talk about creating a shell calendar for a “Perfect Day in Luxury Real Estate” which will lead to a “Perfect Week in Luxury Real Estate”.
Easily created in Excel or Outlook, your perfect day/week in real estate will make many commonly occurring functions as regularly scheduled events. For example:
• Enter the day and time for:
o Office Meetings
o Office Tour
o MLS meetings and tours
o Office Time
• Checking on transitions
o Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays before 10am or after 4pm.
• Calling Sellers
o Pick a day and time
• Schedule your PRIME TIME
These are just a few examples contained in the video.
