5 Ways to Stay Positive in Bad Real Estate Weather

Posted by on Mar 17, 2015 | One Comment

You may not have to deal with long bouts of bad weather where you are, but then again, perhaps you do. There are lots of things that can affect the weather, your business, and therefore your mood. The winter we are having here in Cape Cod is certainly doing it to us. And, while it may not be snowing in your market, you’ve probably faced other bad weather scenarios like hurricanes or tornadoes.

As I work to stay positive, I made a list of things that helped me and could be useful to you also. I cover these Five Points in today’s video and summarize them here also. Enjoy!

1. Physiology affects your Psychology

– Keep moving… somehow
– Exercise… seasonally adjusted
– Check your listings—update Preparation Report

2. Tune up

– Systems and Checklists
– Listing Presentation
– Buyer Presentation

3. Affirm & Question More

– Double whatever you are doing
– Make them Stronger

4. Sharpen Your Runners

– Auto Classroom

5. More Calls and Notes

– 5 per day becomes 10 per day

Watch this week’s video for more on each of these and share in the comments below how you stay positive, even if things in your market aren’t going so well.

Enjoy the video and make it a great week.
