You Need This Market Preparation Checklist
I talk a lot about my Market Preparation Checklist and how it:
- Sets my marketing plan apart from the competition
- Helps a listing sell for a higher price
- Protects my marketing fee
Four decades in the making, I have kept my Market Preparation Checklist a “state secret.” Later in March, I will make this 54 page guide entitled “A Tale of Two Houses” available to agents on my website but at a high price. The value is there and I understand if the investment is too high for some agents.
Don’t worry though, this week begins a series on how to create YOUR OWN Market Preparation Checklist. Here is what we will cover:
- Stagers and Commoditization
- What a Stager Does and Does NOT Do
- How to Set Yourself Apart with Market Preparation Expertise
- How to Create Your Own Checklist
- Market Preparation as the Cornerstone of YOUR Marketing Plan
- How to Protect Your Fee
Enjoy the series. As always, I appreciate your questions and comments.

02/25/2016Is it possible for me to get a sample copy of a Market Preparation Checklist?
Thanks Rex

02/26/2016Rex, I will not be sending out a copy of the checklist but the video series that began yesterday will walk you through everything you need to have on it.
There will be a new part posted here on my blog every Tuesday for the next few weeks and if you are signed up to receive my newsletters each week, you will get an email letting you know when they are live.
I will also be including this and other checklists in my new book “A Tale of Two Houses” which is available for agents to purchase and customize for your own clients. You can get more info on that here –> https://www.jackcotton.com/tale-of-two-houses/
