Why the Flag Has 9 Folds
During this Memorial Day week, I thought I would take a break from my regular content and talk about the day and our American Flag.
More specifically, because many wonder about the proper way to fold the flag, I thought I would review the symbolism of the nine folds.
Please understand, there are other videos with thirteen folds and different types of symbolism. I am not here to say mine is the one and only. This is actually a presentation I made for my Cub Scout troop some time ago. I hope you will enjoy it and find a way to bring the gratitude of the day into every day throughout the year.

Thank you for this educational piece. I have personally witnessed the ceremonial folding of the American Flag many many time, but never knew that each fold held a special meaning.
