The Best Part of Events
Recently I hosted a two-day event in Providence, Rhode Island that was generously sponsored by Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty.
And I have to tell you – I was blown away.
The venue, Hotel Providence, was stunning and the food – exquisite. The warmth and elegance of the surroundings was the perfect setting for a two-day seminar on Selling Luxury Homes.
But that wasn’t the best part.
The best part was the people.
Ray Mott and Judy Chace, owners of Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty, were hospitable, warm, and engaging. I enjoyed every minute I had to spend time with them. They’ve worked hard to build their business and their generosity and work ethics are an inspiration to me.
The attendees came from far and wide. Some drove to the event, and others flew from different places across the United States. At the risk of sounding corny, I was touched that they invested time and finances into coming to my event. Their presence was the icing on the cake, and I was deeply humbled by their sacrifice.
Why am I sharing this with you?
It’s important to acknowledge and understand that business is created with and by people. Share on XIt’s not just transactional. And when someone does things for you that help you in your career, regardless of what it is or how big or small, it’s important to say thank you.
So, thank you, Ray and Judy and all the attendees. It never would have happened without you.
