Two Ways To Keep In Touch With Your Sellers
Last time, we talked about how I always find something to say.
Planned and intentional communication is key to keeping your client happy and keeping a listing until it is sold.
How are you keeping in touch with your sellers?
There are 52 weeks in a year. For me, that means I need to have 52 planned and intentional opportunities to communicate with sellers every year.
Here is what I do every week to keep in touch with my sellers.
Send a newsletter.
I write a newsletter weekly that is is based upon a lather, rinse, repeat model. I then number and save those letters so I know that I’m not using the same letter and just tweaking it, but that I’m providing valuable content to them. Sharing your newsletter with your sellers is a great opportunity to share that you are knowledgeable in real estate.
Theme your work.
My graphic designer prepares a document with a theme for any of the 13 major holidays. This is just one way I choose to stand out and make it interesting for my sellers. I send it out as an email attachment or in the mail which is a great way to keep in touch with your sellers.
For the other 39 weeks a year, I use my generic letterhead to write letters, this helps keep consistency in my brand.

There are other things you can do but this is the bare-bones framework of your seller communication platform or program. Keeping communication with your seller is vital, it lets them know that you are doing your job and they made the right choice in picking you to represent them in their real estate journey.

Until next time, make it a great week.
