Developing and Honing Your Skills

This week, we continue our discussion about the connections among bike riding, the Tour de France and succeeding in luxury real estate. We agree on the importance of having just the right tools combined with the development of our “inner tools”.

Make a list of the “inner tools” important to your success in luxury real estate. In no particular order, they might include:

  • Networking skills
  • Pricing skills
  • Negotiating skills
  • Presentation skills
  • Lead generation skills

Once your personal list is complete, rate each one:

  • I possess this skill and am happy with my level of proficiency
  • I possess this skill but need improvement
  • I am sorely lacking in this skill…Help!

It would make sense to decide which is most important to achieve first. Next step is identifying what resources will be needed to achieve those tools, whether it is classes, books or coaching. Lastly, the video will talk about creating a plan and setting a deadline to achieve the tools and how important it is to practice and rehearse along the way.
