It was in the midst of the Civil War in 1863 that President Abraham Lincoln declared Thanksgiving to be a national holiday held each year in November.

One century and 55 years have passed since then.

And how grateful I am to be celebrating and honoring another Thanksgiving with friends and family. I am also grateful for your friendship, questions, comments, compliments and support.
